85% of our graduates have been placed in culinary jobs
91% have retained those jobs after the first 6 months
Our graduates increased their projected annual income by 6x
These jobs have enabled our graduates to build a better life for themselves in New York; some have moved out of the homeless shelters in which they were living, others are making plans to bring their spouses and children to the U.S.

Emma’s Torch focuses on measuring our impact to ensure that we are achieving our mission through data-driven metrics. But these quantitative measures only tell a part of who we work with and what they accomplish. We have the distinct privilege of working with a group of insightful, passionate, and kind students as well as our staff, volunteers, employment partners, and community at large.
