Morgan Aye


As a young adult, Morgan Aye came to understand the act of cooking as one of the greatest expressions of love and inclusion. Her happiest memories during high school and college were from food-centric events with friends and their families — not only because she loved to cook and eat, but because of the intimate bonds she formed with those who brought her into their spaces. Morgan has previously honed her culinary skills at the likes of Miller’s Tavern (in Williamsburg), All’onda, and Bombay Bread Bar under Chef Floyd Cardoz. In the middle of 2018, she also completed a brief stint at Chef’s Club to assist with the Fat Rice Residency.

Morgan has joined the Emma's Torch team so that she can teach the power of love, care, and kindness through cooking to those who are rebuilding their lives and finding their place in this country. Morgan is a graduate of the International Culinary Center, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience from Middlebury College.
