Emma’s Torch to Open Café And Culinary Training Center With Job Training For Refugees And Asylees

Emma’s Torch, the nonprofit café and culinary training program that helps refugees, asylees, and survivors of human trafficking build careers in the food industry, will officially open its new Silver Spring location on June 12. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for June 11 at 10 am at the new café and training center at 1200 East-West Highway.
