Hilary worked in the Obama Administration, at the White House and the U.S. Department of the Treasury, in various roles focused on economic security. Prior to working for the federal government, she lived in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, as an American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) Fellow at PRODEV, a Haitian nonprofit focused on improving local education. Hilary has a B.A. from New York University.
Hilary's family is made up of former refugees and immigrants who all initially settled in New York and have benefitted immensely from job training programs and services similar to Emma's Torch. She is excited to help families new to the U.S. access similar opportunities.
