Patricia Duffy is an experienced marketing strategist, consultant and trainer/facilitator– currently focused on independent food and beverage entrepreneurs.
A champion of cooperatition in the food system, Patricia is actively involved in a range of initiatives/organizations designed to advance sustainable food businesses with an emphasis on market and industry networking and connections. In addition to working with private clients, Patricia’s roles include:
· Director, Community Table-NYC, an open round-table forum (pioneered by Babson College’s Food Sol) for food professionals, consultants, investors and students, held monthly at New York University.
· Curator, Foodmaker Campaigns for Women You Should Fund, a crowd-funding organization launched by the global, digital media property and community, Women You Should Know.
· Board Member, Slow Money NYC.
· Mentor, Foodworks, a commercial kitchen and incubator serving more than 100 food entrepreneurs in Brooklyn, NY.
Patricia's corporate experience includes 13 years at American Express where she managed key card and travel relationships in the restaurant, lodging, entertainment and tour industries. She began her career in advertising, with account/marketing management positions on both the client and agency sides of the business.
Patricia holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
