Aaron Kaplowitz serves as Director, Global NY, an international investment and trade program launched by Governor Cuomo in 2014. Prior to joining New York State, Aaron worked as Director of Communications for the Embassy of Israel in Washington, D.C. He has written speeches and television commercials and has published articles for the New York TimesBoston Globe Magazine, and USA Today. Aaron edited award-winning biographies on Moshe Dayan (Moshe Dayan: Israel’s Controversial Hero) and Rav Abraham Isaac Kook (Rav Kook: Mystic in a Time of Revolution). He is the founder of +1, a networking initiative featured in the Wall Street Journal and also serves on the Board of Trustees for the U.S. Supporters of the Lone Soldier Center in Memory of Michael Levin.
